 Select Sires Canada News Select Sires Combines Breed-Leading LPI with Trusted Reliability
KEMPTVILLE, Ontario, Nov. 30, 2004 — Following the October 2004 Canadian
proof run, two second-crop Select Sires Canada bulls rank among the
Top-10 LPI Holstein bulls.
At +1875 LPI, 7HO6250 Ricecrest EMERSON-ET* TV, BL holds his No. 8 spot
on the Top-100 LPI list after adding 300 new daughters. Now with 2,120
Canadian daughters in 780 herds, EMERSON offers +2,040 Milk, +75 Protein
and +63 Fat at 99% Rel.
New to the list, 7HO5708 Fustead Emory BLITZ-ET*TV ranks tenth on the
LPI list and offers breeders a very unique genetic package with high
production and show-ring type. BLITZ is the only sire among the Top-100
LPI that offers over +2,700 Milk along with double-digit plus
evaluations for Conformation, Mammary System (MS), Feet and Legs (FL),
Dairy Character, and Body Capacity. Breeders can tap into his extreme
+2,777 EVB Milk and also get +18 Conformation - including +11 FL and +14
MS. BLITZ also stands out as the only sire in Canada to receive the
Class Extra Sire designation following the October proof run.
BLITZ is classified Excellent (94) and is sired by 7HO3948 MJR Blackstar
EMORY, who is one of only seven bulls in the United States to score
Excellent (97-Gold Medal). BLITZ's three nearest dams are also
classified Excellent and all three are recognized as Gold Medal Dams for
their transmitting ability as brood cows.

the Select Sires Canada lineup. At 16 years old, INTEGRITY is still in
demand and continues to sire blue-ribbon winners and show champions. His
+10 for conformation is now based on over 3,200 Canadian daughters.

Top-100 LPI. His heavy use as a young sire has already resulted in 159
