Program for Genetic Advancement Canada

The Program for Genetic Advancement Canada™ (PGAC™) is Select Sires Canada Inc.'s young sire program in Canada. Like its subsidiary in the United States, the PGAC samples young sires that have built-in qualities to be breed leaders as a result of being the products of the most highly-regarded sires in A.I and out of the most elite cows in each breed. PGAC sires are randomly sampled, coast-to-coast, to ensure they are sampled on a cross section of management systems in various geographic locations. The majority of Select Sires's current proven lineup started their career as a PGA™ young sire.

How to Enroll in the PGAC Program

Qualifying dairy producers who are interested in participating in this program are encouraged to contact their local Select Sires Canada Inc. representatives or call our office.
